I bought this in error
Dylosh 04.03.2022
I was looking for a small stand to hoist an organ module up above the keyboard and purchased this only due to the pictures as I thought there was a standard shelf for these devices. I was wrong unfortunately. This does not affect the score I have given. This shelf is more for a second keyboard to be above your main one. Let's say a midi controller for quirky sounds you might not be using for the whole song or for, in my case, a second keyboard hooked up to an organ module.
It has made me consider the latter now as a potential or my gigging set up.

The build quality is good. A little heavier than I thought for something that is supposed to be an accessory to your main keyboard stand. The stability is questionable at the moment. It can only adjust to about 2 foot in length and as it attaches to the bars on the keyboard stand this means the keyboard stand cannot go any lower than this shelf's max width.
All in all I gave it good marks because it is a very specialised product and will do the job for anyone seeking a second keyboard in their set up

Very good value for money
jondelange 17.03.2022
I wanted to have my synths above each other, but I was a bit thrown off by the prices of these kind of stands. This one was the cheapest option I could find.
I find it very easily to setup, it also fits on stands of other brands, but make sure you check the diameter of the tubes before you try that.
The one problem I have with it is that the bars are very long, which is good for large keyboards I guess, but a large part of it hangs over your keyboard underneath, which becomes partly inaccessible, which for a knob-turning synthesist as myself can become irritating. My top keyboard however is the small yamaha reface CS, so I just keep it as far back as I can and then it's fine, but if you want to use this for large keyboards, be aware that you might not be able to reach all the knobs of your lower keyboard.
All in all it is a cheap, sturdy stand which I find to be great value for the money.

It's a really stable addition to my X-stand. Really precise when I need to set an exact angle (it shows this information in exact numbers). So easy to attach and detach it as well, it's been a huge struggle for me for years.

The only downside is that it's not possible to adjust it's height, only to change the angle of holding arms. And it doesn't come with black rubber pads are not included - only the green ones.

Affordable but with some compromises
MikeT99 24.11.2021
I've bought this to use with the main Gravity keyboard stand. It was subected to some heavy use - I'm a gigging musician - but on the 4th or 5th venue the roadie came up to me with a jarred face, stand in one hand and the thin rod in another: it had broken in the connecting nut.
Fortunately, it doesn't interfere with the abiity to hold the upper keyboard: I believe it's just a maximum-lenght failsafe for not overextending it.
Another minor gripe: although there are markings on the stand for tilt - great! - these just have a "broad" alignment with each other.
So, all in all, beware of how you treat it, I can't endorse it for road-heavy use.
