Smaller sound than expected

I normally play on a Bach 4G for orchestra/solo. I ordered this mouthpiece to try for demanding solo work. Overall well balanced and impeccable quality, good flexibility and more clear upper register. Comfortable rim (wider than Bach), but sadly with a smaller sound than I was hoping for so I ended up returning the mouthpiece. The Griego-Alessi 5D might be a better match.

Das tolle Ergebnis trübt nur der hohe Preis... und die Verarbeitung (bei einem älteren Produkt ist tatsächlich beim Schaft einiges der Legierung abhanden gekommen - das sollte bei diesem Preis nicht vorkommen
