Grover 133N Deluxe

I wanted to replace the machine heads on my Harley Benton SC-550Il with some that, unlike the oe items, would stay in tune.
After some research, I decided to opt for these Grover 133N de-luxe items. The price was OK and the reviews were mostly positive.
As before, in my experience with them, Thomann dealt efficiently with my order, and the new machine heads soon arrived.
As far as fitting was concerned, it couldn't have been easier. As I had hoped the dimensions of the Grovers matched the oe items exactly, to the point where I was able to utilise the existing screw holes.
As far as performance goes, I have had the Grovers fitted for several months now, and they have proven to be a huge improvement on the original machine heads, requiring only minor day to day adjustments, if any.
The oe machine heads on SC550ll are, in my opinion anyway, the only serious weakness on what is otherwise a very good guitar, especially considering the price.
I would recommend replacing the oe machine heads withe these Grover variants without hesitation.

Wer eine Epiphone Casino mit Vintage-Style Mechaniken besitzt und über einen Tausch nachdenkt (bei mir vibrierten die originalen fast 20-jährigen Tuner nervtötend), macht mit diesen hier alles richtig.

Die Maße stimmen perfekt mit den originalen überein. Ich konnte sogar die vorhandenen Hülsen in der Kopfplatte lassen und die ursprünglichen Schrauben verwenden.

Die Stimmwirbel selbst sind super hochwertig, fühlen sich toll an und sind schon nach kurzer Zeit stimmstabil.

Und was am wichtigsten ist: Kein nervendes Vibrieren mehr.
