Harley Benton HB-35 CH Vintage Series electric guitar

The Harley Benton HB-35 CH is a semi-hollow electric guitar that instantly calls to mind classic guitars of the past. It features a maple body with an arched top that is adorned with elegant f-holes, and the combination of a high-gloss cherry red finish and chrome hardware completes its authentic vintage look. The guitar's construction incorporates a solid block of wood that runs through the centre of the body, which together with its set maple neck ensures plenty of sustain and helps to prevent unwanted feedback when playing at high volume. The latter in turn features a 22-fret amaranth fingerboard with white pearloid dot inlays that provide a visual contrast and easier orientation when playing, and both neck and body (front and back) are adorned with cream-coloured binding, a feature usually reserved for much pricier instruments. This bundle also includes a gig bag, a 3m long instrument cable, and a Harley Benton HB-40R combo amplifier that features tube-emulating circuitry, spring reverb, and a three-band EQ section - impressive features for a compact practice amplifier. An AUX input is also provided, so players can practise along to their favourite backing tracks.

Pure retro charm

To ensure that the Harley Benton HB-35 delivers a retro feast for the ears as well as the eyes, the guitar features a pair of vintage-style humbucking pickups, and its combination of a Tune-o-Matic bridge and stop-bar tailpiece together with the internal centre block mentioned above provide a full, sustaining sound. The neck features a comfortable C profile and is equipped with a double-action trussrod for optimum adjustability, and both the 628mm (24.7") scale length and 42mm (1.65") nut width are also typical for this style of guitar. The same is true of the HB-35's electronics, which comprise a three-way toggle switch and dedicated volume and tone controls for each pickup, so players can easily dial in any tone they desire. The amplifier included in this set combines a 40W power output with a 10" speaker, so it will certainly provide plenty of volume despite its compact size. In addition, its three-band EQ section provides a wide palette of sounds, and a headphone output is also included so that silent practice is possible as well.

Je tiens a remercier toute l'équipe Thomann car, malgré des soucis techniques ceux ci m'ont adressé ma commande dans les plus brefs délais.Concernant l'Harley benton HB35 celle ci est magnifique je n'ai constaté aucun défaut ;réglage parfait le son est franchement trés correct pour un tel prix .Seul petit bémol lors du changement de cordes une mécanique HS Appel au service aprés vente ,il m'envoie une nouvelle piéce.
Je suis actuellement occupé à la réalisation d'une copie d'ES335 et lorsque je constate le prix que je dois mettre en ce qui concerne l'accastillage les micros etc , je ne compte pas le bois ni la main d'oeuvre je suis toujours sur le c-l de voir comment cette marque vend les guitares à un tel prix.Je ne sais si la qualité s'est améliorée car par moment c'était un peu la loterie.C'est la deuxiéme harley que j'ai commandé , la premiére étant une sc custom(Type les paul); est ce que j'ai eu de la chance? celles ci étaient sans aucun défaut mise à part la mécanique.Il semble que d'autes clients ont eu des petits problémes.Pour les personnes peu fortunées c'est un vrai bonheur de pouvoir acquérir de tels instruments. Pour info le pickguard n'est plus celui qui est présenté et dont la découpe était baclée.Le nouveau modéle copie celui de la gibson et en ce qui me concerne, il est correctement réalisé. pour en terminer longue vie à Harley Benton.
