I bought this guitar to fit the same purpose as my Yamaha Silent Guitar, being able to practice in an apartment building at any time, day or night, but I want a guitar in a different tuning, and it fits the need perfectly! It's ever so slightly louder but it still no where near as loud as a normal classical guitar.
The neck, is smooth and fast, I was pleasantly surprised how comfortable it was to play. The nut is 52mm, so if you're more of a purist and were put off by the Yamaha Silent Guitar 50mm, or the 48mm of the Harley Benton Nashville, you won't have that concern here.
I play it unplugged so I have no input about what it actually sounds like plugged in but I have no plans on using it like anytime soon.
If this guitar was available when I bought my Yamaha Silent Guitar, I think I would've had a tough time deciding which to settle on.
Overall though, the Yamaha is a better quality neck (it has a unique body so I won't compare that) and it has the whole being able to plug headphones into it thing going on.
In regards to the finish, if you like wood grain and wood colours, the front, back, neck and head stock are all different shades with nice visible wood textures.
I welcome this guitar to my collection with open arms and look forward to more guitars of this hybrid nylon nature coming out in the future.
