Multi-level organisation

A tidy house is a sign of a tidy mind – and that is especially true for pedalboards, which when well organised remove unnecessary stress from performances. The Harley Benton SpaceShip 60 is here to help by providing, over four levels, sufficient space for effect pedals of all sizes. Despite weighing in at only 1.54kg, the rugged powder-coated frame is extremely robust. Thanks to the two adjustable feet, the pedalboard's height and tilt can also be flexibly adjusted. The SpaceShip 60 also comes with everything users need for mounting the effect pedals on the board, including a three-metre roll of hook-and-loop tape, along with two rubber bands to ensure that all cables can be securely fastened.

Space for effects of all kinds

As there are no standardised dimensions for effects pedals, users of many different devices often run into difficulties when trying to organise their setup. With four separate levels and a width of 60cm, the Harley Benton SpaceShip 60 provides more than enough space to accomodate a wide variety of effect types in a wide range of sizes. To ensure that pedals both large and small find a secure place on the board, sufficient hook-and-loop tape is provided to cover all four levels as well as two elastic bands for attaching the power supply unit. Meanwhile, the padded gig bag with a front-facing accessory pocket ensures secure transportation for the user's gear, and thanks to the integrated shoulder strap, the SpaceShip 60 can be quickly and conveniently carried from the rehearsal room to the stage.

Affordable solution for pedal lovers

Even when effect pedals of vastly differing types and sizes are involved, the SpaceShip 60 provides users with endlessly flexible routing options, while also ensuring that the pedals are securely mounted. It is also possible to adjust the unit's height and tilt for an optimal position while performing. This feature-packed pedalboard is, of course, available at the customary Harley Benton price, which also enables musicians on a smaller budget to achieve an organised, professional setup for their effects.

What a great pedal board!
Bob @ Piedmont Guitars 09.05.2019
I'm going to jump straight into the Pros and cons instead of getting up on a soapbox.
Pros: This is a very high quality welded aluminum pedal board. It really is. Don't worry about the Harley Benton name on it. I think Thomann is just using that as a brand name for all of their in store stuff. This is really great. Has the under carriage for mounting the power supply below the board. Adjustable feet on the front legs to get more tilt back if you like. Extremely durable and well constructed aluminum square tubing. Plus quite a bit of velcro for attaching your pedals if you want to go that way. And if that wasn't enough, it comes with a pretty good carry bag for the end of the gig. Slide it in, zip it up and load it in the van. All for a great price! And this is a pretty large board too. I could have probably gone down one size smaller. But I have a wah wah pedal on it also. Most of my pedals are either the small mini pedals, or they are double foot switch boost/drive pedals. Nothing in the middle for me lol. Seriously tho. It's a great board!
Cons: Hmmm for the price, I really can't think of any. It's not too heavy for its size, but not too lightweight that it will bend and break over time either. It's just a great board!
Highly recommend it. I'm really going to have to look at a few more things with that Harley Benton label on it. See what I have been missing! Maybe another guitar without that high priced Maryland builders name on it? The reviews coming out of the Harley Benton CST-24's is pretty good... we'll see how it goes :)

RM
Best pedalboard in that price range!
Ricardo Marcos 24.11.2022
Buy it. That could be the whole review, but we need to convince the audience so here goes nothing.
Pros:
-The materials used in the board feels incredibly strong, but still weights next to nothing.
-Adjustable feet could be reinforced just a bit, yes, but unless you treat this like a ball, they feel like they will last a lifetime.
-They include a lot, and I mean A LOT of spare Velcro (just the hook part), and the fact that the board is almost entirely covered in the loop Velcro speeds up the build a lot
-Space below the board is excellent; you can easily mount any power supply due to the special form of the square tubing which allow extra space underneath, and I know I’m not making myself clear but just trust me in this one ok
-The 2 middle bars can be adjusted to narrow or wide the space between them, especially useful if you have small pedals that maybe feel like they fall in the space between
Cons:
-I had to think about this because there are so few, but for starters, the board isn’t entirely flat, you see those textured bars on the laterals of the board? They “hug” the horizontal tubes, so you lose a bit of space if you want to have everything perfectly even.
-The mount poles for the power supply below the frame aren’t adjustable, and the rubber bands included feels strong but I still went with the zip ties of all life
-Although the bag feels good, really doesn’t gives enough protection for a tour, but for the price is almost a gift so go for it
Overall this is such a good product, can’t recommend it enough, you should buy it just for the pedalboard, is worth every cent, and the bag is a nice extra. 9/10

TS
Just awesome.
The String Wizzard 09.06.2016
I've been playing with Pedaltrain for the past 6 years, and I've never had any complains, but I always felt there was something missing. I bought this Harley Benton SpaceShip because of the adjustable distance. I was curious.

I was blown away! This thing is PERFECT for every occasion! I went on tour right after buying this thing and it worked wonders. It's much more stable that a Pedaltrain, and you can also adjust the height of the supports so it's perfect for when you're playing on an uneven stage.
The adjustable distance is also great! Works perfect if you have a mixture of normal-sized pedals and tiny ones (Ditto Looper for example)

The bag is top grade, and protects the pedals perfectly.

I totally recommend this, both as a professional musician and as a gear enthusiast!

Edit:

After 3-4 years of using this thing, it did not survive, it was really solid at the begining, but after a year or so it started falling appart little by little, the bag got ragged and some screws just fell out. Is still solid and very good and usable, but it's not the best long lasting quality out there. Would still buy it, but with a solid case

I wanted a pedalboard and a PSU to mount my Hughes & Kettner FSM-432 MkIII for controller for my H&L Black Spirit 200 amp rig and to power my Boss WL-50 wireless guitar system, a Korg DT-10 tuner, and a Morley Bad Horsie II wah. I already own a PedalTrain Nuovo which I use for my BluGuitar Amp1/Remote1 rig and a Korg Pitchblack tuner, so my initial research was based around that brand (and Voodoo Labs for the PSU). I was really surprised when I realised that with the Harley-Benton brand I could have the board AND a PSU (the ISO-1 Pro - see separate review) for about the same price as either a PedalTrain board OR a Voodoo Labs PSU. A no-brainier, really - assuming that I’m not getting half the quality to match half the price, of course. However, having read many reviews, the vast majority of which were very positive, I decided to take the plunge ... I’m glad I did. For a start Thomann’s service is terrific; even in these strange times of coronavirus the package arrived within a couple of days. The board is well built, light and looks fairly sturdy, and the soft case is of good quality too. My only caveat would be a slight worry about the adjustable feet at the back of the board (which lift it to give it the desired angle); they look a little exposed and may well break off if the board is dropped or kicked, but we shall see ... I spent a happy afternoon attaching the bits and I’m delighted with the result. As I said in my review for the ISO-1 Pro PSU, I haven’t yet been able to gig the new kit, but when I do I will come and update the review as necessary. Edit: I have now gigged this set-up lots of times and it has performed brilliantly. My early worries about the feet have not been realised and I have accordingly altered my score. Highly recommended - as long as you can see past its lack of ‘brand name’ then you can’t go wrong.
