I've been using a NUX Bumblebee large pedal board, and it unfortunately does not come any larger, I'm expanding my pedals and so I started doing a hunt for a large pedal board.
The Harley Benton with the Power Bar is hands down the best value for money for what I was after. It is absolutely huge, but because it is not two tier like the NIX, you have to leave plenty of space to make sure you don't inadvertently hit pedals as you're reaching over from the bottom to the top of the board.
I've spent two/three days changing the arrangement of my pedals on the board and I think I've got them to where they need to be - but I haven't gigged with it yet, so it remains to be seen. I'm looking forward to not having loads of wiring to plug in (I never used a power block with the Nix, you see!).
I had the great idea to add spaces onto the back feet to raise it up to help avoid the hitting of lower buttons, however, I had to remove these as they will not go in the case!
And the case is what lets this product down!
I have my volume pedal at the top end of the board as my page turner is closer to my feet, but it is a real squeeze to close the bag case and the cardboard lining is pushing down on the top of the volume pedal. I have added some foam in around my pedals as the case is not padded like the NUX case was. The NUX case is not rigid - this case feels like it is semi-rigid, but it does not feel like it does anything other than constitute a carry case - there feels to be very little protection.
I think this is the right board for me, so I'm going to have to think about what I'm going to store and carry this in in future to protect my pedals.
