Just one negative
NatrelAcoustix 24.05.2020
I think evryone else has covered the main good points of this little loop switcher. And, it is good. Obviously it would be nice to have more power outs and an extra loop, but my 'negative' issue is this: Whilst using the unit at home I never really noticed this issue, but live... It caught me out. Twice! When the unit is in tuner mode and silent, it de-selects your existing loop. When you come out of tuner mode your all of a sudden in by-pass, but it isn't true by-pass. you then have to step on the switch of the loop you want... that then puts that loop into by-pass... Then you have to step on the switch again to select it! Pain in the bum!
If you know this is going to happen however, you can re-select your loop whist in tuner mode. Then, when you exit the tuner you're ready to play in your chosen loop. I hope I've explained this well and I don't know if it's only my unit that does this. Maybe reviewer's in other languages have mentioned it? Once you know it has this odd quirk it's not a massive problem, but it was embarresing live when you start a heavily guitar affected tone (meant to be delay, chorus, overdrive) squeeky clean. It turned a few heads in the venue. We laughed later... Much later.

For the tap-dance aficionado

This is a perfect, reasonably priced, entry-level switcher that does the basics like a champ. Can't really attest to the build quality as I have been using it only for a couple of months on rehearsals, but it can handle my 100kg 47 size foot stomp quite well. It's really easy to set up and even change if needed on the fly. DOn't expect it to be a spaceship, it's just a good switcher that will cover all your basic needs.

Sturdy and reliable
Le Bodo 24.01.2024
Has worked flawlessly for more than a year now. Super easy to set up and even modify on the fly. Great value for a basic way to switch between different loops. I use it with a kind of 4-cable method to send several preamps into my main amp's effects loop, with the preamp of that amp also being a loop. This way I can switch between various preamps (KSR Ceres, AMT, etc) all being sent to the same Marshall Silver Jubilee power section.
I wish there was an option to add a channel switch for an amp but I can't fault this unit as it is a cheaper, simpler version of the other one that has more loops and channel switching.
Being able to use it to power the pedals is also a big plus.
The only slight negative is that the footswitches are a bit loud and stiff. But otherwise, a great product with great value.

Beautiful switcher and powering solution
johncordy 25.11.2019
I used this to avoid the classic tapdancing if you've got a pedalboard where you need multiple changes at a time. Sort of like a stripped back GigRig or Carl Martin type switcher, you can program in patch changes so that by pressing one switch you engage or disengage multiple loops (i.e. a delay, a drive pedal and a compressor) simultaneously.

A nice addition is the ability to power pedals from the StompControl, 2x 9 V 100 mA, 2x 9 V 300 mA, 1x 9 V 500 mA give plenty of flexibility and for instance you could power a couple of Strymon pedals with the 300ma, most normal pedals will cope with the 100ma, and a more power intensive pedal like a Strymon Iridium you could power with the 500ma out.

A solid feeling and looking pedal, and the colour scheme is a nice alternative to some of the more boring looking stuff...

For the price of most of the competitor's power supplies you can also have a very decent loop switching device!
