Finalmente temos HB Valuestrings para 8 cordas!
capellamusic 15.07.2021

ALL OK

Normal strings, no lower anywhere. If you take an eight-string guitar, you can take several packs at once, since when you received an eight-stringed guitar, you had to immediately change the strings. The guitar is thinner, which does not allow it to be tuned in DPOP E

Decent strings for a decent price
Mofosir 30.10.2022
Got just one pack of these to test them out, now I regret not getting more than one. Decent strings, especially when You factor in that they cost but a third of a regular pack. Of course they will not last as long as coated strings, but just having these as a backup is great, not everyone can afford to change the entire pack every time a string breaks, and these fill in that slot perfectly. Plus, as they cost so little You can just change them more often, thus alleviating the need of coated strings to a degree. Furthermore, they aren't bad in any way, they keep in tune, intonate, feel nice on the fingers and most importantly sound good on the lower (B, F#) strings. Also some fatter strings for guitar tend to muddy up really fast, not the case here, I've had them on my 8 string for a couple of weeks now and they still sound great. Really can't complain, glad that Thomann provides something in this price bracket. Also, on a side note, for anyone who bought the R-458MN WH Fanfret, get a pack of these and change the strings the moment you get the guitar - the lower register will thank you!

They do what no one else can
NevermindMe 28.12.2022
The gauges on these strings have been taken from other (considerably more expensive) string manufacturers for the needs of 8 string guitars. However, the way I use them is discard (save) the first and last string and use the 13-64 as baritone gauges on a 6-string guitar. They are perfect since they have slightly more tension than other sets which are meant for baritone, meaning you will not have loose strings, therefore tuning issues. The other great advantage is this is the first affordable set that allows you to do this, meaning you can take this set to a luthier to set up your guitar and not worry too much if you end up discarding them. All I see with this set is win-win all around.
