Stand for Guitars and Basses

  • Plasticiser-free foam
  • Weight: 0.9 kg
  • Dimensions (folded): 28.5 x 10 cm
  • Depth of supports: 7 cm

Discolouration due to chemical reaction:

All HERCULES guitar stands and wall brackets are equipped with soft foam padding to protect your instrument from damage. These pads are plasticiser-free and have not shown any reaction in long-term tests with a wide variety of paint finishes.

However, discolouration on sensitive lacquer surfaces (e.g. nitrocellulose) cannot be completely ruled out. We do not accept any guarantee in such cases.

To rule out damage of this kind, cover the parts that come into direct contact with the instrument with a soft cloth made of natural fibres (cotton, silk, etc.). This way, discolouration can be safely avoided.

GS
Excellent guitar stand
Gareth S. 24.02.2018
I now have two of these - one for use at home and a second which lives in my kit bag for rehearsals and gigs.

They are absolutely brilliant - solid, stable, well made and easy to use. The drawstring bag which comes with the stand is very handy if like me you want to carry it around.

The folding mechanism is completely intuitive, and the size when collapsed is very compact. The weight is enough to make the stand stable, without being a burden to carry around. It looks good, and in particular isn't an eyesore when positioned in the home.

I feel completely relaxed when my guitar is on the stand in the rehearsal room, at home or on a stage. Of course if someone really whacks the headstock it would fall over, but for minor bumps it seems completely rock solid.

I don't have any nitro-finished guitars, so I can't comment on whether the surface of the stand may react with that type of finish. (I have heard this can be an issue with some types of rubber / foam padding but as I say can't comment on whether this applies in this case).

In short, I don't have any bad things to say about this stand. The only reason I would consider replacing it would be to accommodate yet more guitars ... !

A very nice grab n go item
Diablo 20.01.2020
I already have other Hercules stands so I know the excellent quality of the product.
This guitar holder, younger brother of the GS302B that I own and of which I am very happy, is an even smaller and more portable version and it's very comfortable to keep in the pocket of the gigbag to go to rehearsals or concerts and always have a safe and solid support to support the your favorite guitar/bass and don't leave them to their fate, which can often prove to be inauspicious :)
The joints are made very well, the product is light and small in size, and the support is sufficiently secure. Definitely to store the guitar without anyone being close I would recommend a version of the stand with the neck holder that guarantees greater stability in case of accidental impacts

Top foam comes off
EdMac 27.09.2019
Very good stand but quality lacks a bit in that the top foam (where the body of the instrument reclines) comes off and could cause the metal top of the stand to scratch the instrument's finish.

The Tonka trucks of music gear.
Martyo 22.07.2020
I've been gigging with one of these for several years. Strong, sturdy and aesthetically pleasing. Folds up and packs away in it's own bag. If anything, this stand is over engineered. It's virtually unbreakable, not that i've tried. I'm pretty sure that in the event of a Nuclear war the only survivors will be Cockroaches and Hercules instrument stands. A band mate has the Saxophone version as well which he swears by and has used without problem for many years.
Pros: Good price. Packs away well. Basically indestructable.
Cons: I'm on my third as my friends keep 'borrowing' them.
I recommend this stand to everyone and anyone who will listen. You'll never need another, unless your friends are prone to 'borrowing' gear.
