Ich bin losgezogen, um eine klassische Gitarre mit Fichtendecke zu kaufen, weil die so schön offen und perkussiv klingen. Nach hause gegangen bin ich mit dieser Höfner, weil die einzelnen Saiten runder klingen und durch die leicht komprimierte Dynamik besser tragen.

Sie ist nicht so laut wie eine mit Fichtendecke, aber sie hat einen ganz eigenen Charme, der sich gut mit Solo-Gesang verträgt. Die Verarbeitung ist makellos, der Hochglanz-Lack ist hoch glänzend, das Holz schön gemasert. Die Zederndecke ist massiv, die Bindings einwandfrei, die Bundstäbchen leicht abgeflacht, was der Intonation zu gute kommt. Wenn ich nur nicht inzwischen 95% meiner Zeit Bass spielen würde...
