VB
great starter guitar
Vincent Bo 01.11.2019
If you're just starting out then this is a great choice. It of course doesn't cost a lot of money which you can also notice by the quality of the guitar but like I said it's a cheap guitar, you can't expect it to be perfect.
It sounds great but the playability might be the most noticeable downside to this guitar. The frets are sharp around the edges and kind of rough on the surface (annoying during bends for example).
All things considered, a great guitar if you don't want to spend a whole lot of money. Would I recommend it? Yes, but don't forget about the cons like fret buzz, knobs that don't turn smoothly or the cheap electronics.
So I discussed a lot of downsides of this guitar because, let's be honest, that is why you're reading the reviews but I really do think that it is a great guitar for the money.

Amazing for the money

This guitar is very impressive for its price. It is built well with a smooth and solid feeling neck, very good fretwork with nothing sticking out and all metal volume and tone controls. The guitar stays in tune well and the floating trem is also very good. The guitar also looks much better in person than in pictures. I reccomend this guitar for anyone playing rock and metal, it's great for rhythm and lead alike.

My first guitar!
Anonymous 26.04.2016
I was only looking for a guitar with 24 frets and H-S-H pickups and this appeared to be the best entry level deal.

I'm pretty satisfied with it, being a complete beginner.
I'm not sure whether the string gauge is .09-.42 or .10-.46 but they are pretty easy to do bends with and can withstand a lot of heavy/crazy strumming.

Out of the box it was not tuned accurately, but I bet this is because my environment (tropical island!) is way different than Thomann's.

Anyhow, being a complete newbie in tuning, I could follow the manual's instructions very easily, adjusting the truss rod, action of the strings by raising/lowering the bridge directly - or by adding springs, etc...

PROs
Good-looking
Easy to finetune
Quite stable tuning once correctly configured (loaded with a third spring, nut lubricated), even with tremolo abuse

CONs
Very heavy (I'm 5'9, 60 Kg if that helps), weighing at ~5 Kg
Not the best pickups, but they are fair enough
Shiny finish picks up scratches and fingerprints easily

Bottom line
I would recommend this guitar for anyone who wishes to start learning. However if you can afford a guitar with better pickups, I would suggest doing so.

My first guitar

Well, it is a very good guitar for beginning.

pros:
- very nice feeling on neck
- I love the clear and clean sound on S.C. pickup
- It's tone per overall is more than 4 stars, but lest than 5 (it still doesn't feel like a music man or whatever)

cons ( these are minor details )
- The tremolo and the pickups are ok, but not the best (except this one, it is a major)
- there is a lot of dust that gets onto the pickups
- a very heavy guitar (not the genre, literally heavy)
- fingerprints easily

Notice: Even though it does not have a Floyd Rose bridge, it does not seem to get out of tune pretty easily (and I use the whammy bar pretty often).
Also, putting sitckers all over the guitar should get rid of the issue with fingerprints.

In conclusion, if you are playing as a hobby, it is a 5 stars guitar, if not, it could be even less than 4.
