If you have a lot of synths, you need a stand you can trust. Jaspers make reliable, rock-solid stands, but the standard configurations have their limits. Fortunately, they offer extra support products that can be added on to a stock configuration. This is just such a product. It attaches to the back frame, offering added support for the ‘holders’ on which a keyboard sits. Jaspers offer holders of differing lengths, and the longer ones will be required for lower tiers.
Once installed, the additional support keeps heavier keyboards stably situated. I’ve always been a little nervous about some of my weightier vintage synths, but this added support alleviates that anxiety.
One note: if you are ordering from overseas (as I did), plan ahead and get all of the Jaspers parts you think you will need on the same order to save on shipping costs. As ever, Thomann got it to me in a few days, despite my being halfway around the globe.

What I cannot see anywhere is the instruction that you also need to purchase the extra long holders (arms) approx 50-60cm, otherwise the strengthening bar and the holder arms do not meet unless your heavy synth is on one of the top tiers.

This extra tubing adds peace of mind for heavy gear on Jaspers multitiered stands. Comes with the T-fittings which lock down tight on the vertical stand rails. Worth the price.
