Revolutionary product

I bought it for gigs because my regular neck strap (which as also high quality thomann leather strap) just feels uncomortable and sweaty after let's say 3-4 (sometimes more) hours on my neck.. I must say that this Saxholder exceeded my expectations...The sax just feels like floating in front of you. The materials are of a high quality and you get a replacement cord if needed and holder can be folded with one hand so you can store it in the bell of your Tenor (sadly it cannot fit in the Alto sax bell).

I would recommend this to anyone with neck problems or sweaty neck problems or If you don't like pressure on your neck when you are playing...wi finally have solution for that...

PS.I'm 192cm tall and 90kg and I ordered regular version not the XL version and I must say it fits me perfectly.

It's just a BOMB !!!
Selik 08.01.2022
Very happy with your purchase! So everything is done with high quality. It is possible to adjust the extension cord, which rests against the stomach, to suit the height of the person. I play tenor and alto saxophone, the weight of the instrument is not felt at all. The cervical vertebrae will now be in order! Health comes first! Recomend for everybody!

PN
Best sax holder ever made
Paco Negrito 19.01.2022
There's absolutely NO comparison between this one and any other strap or harness I have ever tested.

- No neck strain at all
- Great stability of the instrument (tenor & bari sax, bass clarinet)
- Because the mounting point protrudes ahead from your chest, the balance of the instrument is much much improved.
- It is comfy for a tenor, but it really shines on a bari sax that is a heavy beast and cumbersome. Same for a bass clarinet to low-c. It improved the stability a fair bit and contribute to higher agility and dexterity.

If there's a single thing I'd like improved, it would be to have a double hook version for low clarinets.

No brainer.

Awesome!
Konrad R. 20.09.2020
I used to use typical sax straps, but this one is a game-changer.
It's very light, super comfortable, and the idea of three points of support (arms and stomach) is amazing. You have the feeling of saxophone levitating in front of you, instead of neck pain ;) pricey, but worth it.

Great flexibility and comfort
Ash F 07.08.2024
I used a harness before which can be limiting in mobility and difficult to get on and off. This is comfortable and you can move around more. Very much recommend.

If I could choose to improve on it, I would like some accommodations for women's stature. I'd love to find a way where my hair doesn't get caught/pulled by the gaps in the shoulders. This can be avoided by putting under clothes, but that's not always possible.
I also use it on the smallest setting - if there was a smaller size it would be nice to have that bit of extra leeway.

GG
Extremely comfortable
George Georgadakis 10.02.2022
Compared to traditional neck straps, the comfort of the Jazzholder is like night and day. I was worried that the bottom part would dig into my belly but it turns out to not be an issue at all. It is adjustable to a very large degree. As for the build quality, of course, most parts are plastic but the adjustable metallic rods for the shoulder parts do not bend too easily so once adjusted, there is no fear of it going our of shape or anything. All in all. I would recommend it without reservation

When the weight is off your neck ...
Jazz tenor 21.12.2021
When the weight is off your neck you can't go back to traditional straps. This is probably the best saxholder for great breathing, posture and playing. Also a big improvement on the older version: The detachable wings. Well designed, (finally) easy to fit in a smaller sax case. I will stay with this product until the next improvement hopefully makes it fit into my pocket!

Great stuff
Abaoaqu 26.11.2022
Jazzlab did a great job designing this saxholder. I play bari and tenor. After just half minute of adjusting I got the holder to perfectly fit my shoulders. It feels amazingly comfy - just as if my sax is floating in front of me. There's one thing though - I can't bend forward with a sax too much like with a normal strap. Nevertheless, i think it's still the best sax "strap" ever. Certainly worth the price.

Excellent for Tenor (not ideal for curved soprano)...
@Daviday87 31.01.2020
I use this on my tenor as well as my tenor when I practice with a heavy Best Brass e-Sax Mute...Solid, comfortable, fairly adjustable, nothing to say for tenors it's an excellent piece of equipment and makes the instrument feel incredibly light.

Warning: if you play the curved bell soprano, the string lengths are not ideal. I can use it but I have to add all sorts of knots that don't look great, take time, and makes the holder unusable if I just want to unclip and switch instruments mid-song/show, so I tend to keep this on my tenor and a different strap on my soprano.
