No surprise, Jensen quality

It replaces the stock loudspeaker in a Fender Frontman 25, and as expected, the tone is more like the classical Fender Tone (with Strats and Teles). Installation has no issue with the standard size and screw placement, the loudspeaker plugs have a little play because they are narrow but just bend them a little and the amp plugs stick to them firmly.

The classical warmer Fender tone is there but also, the distortion in the inexpensive circuit has a nicer sound, and the reverb responds well to the change of speaker. It used to sound alien in the higher settings but now the full-blast reverb has a good tone, too.

Not expensive and worth the change.

The Fender Princeton sound.

I like it a lot. It is not for hardrock or metal but for wonderful clean tones.

Bisher habe ich robustere Lautsprecher bevorzugt. (G12H, Tornado 100, Eminence Special Twin) G12 Vintage).
