Pedal works fine!
Does its job very decent. I use it as a volume control for my Peavey 6505+ 112 combo and I put it in the effects loop. This way I have more detailed range for the volume on the amp itself.
The only thing I can remark is that the knob does not turn as smooth all around the range of the potmeter. turning from 0 to 50 percent, the knob loses 'smoothness' and becomes somewhat stiffer to turn. From 50 to 100 it becomes more and more smooth towards the 100%.
This does not affect the function and that's the only thing I can remark. In my opinion, great price/quality ratio.

Does the job

I use this with my Fender HR Deville 60W which is loud as hell (and has no master volume), to tame it when at home. The LBA has done well its job as expected.

Pros:
Simple/cheap solution to a common problem

Cons:
- You could probably build this yourself with a potentiometer if you research a bit on the internet.
- The closer the potentiometer is to its 'zero' (min volumen) you'll clearly hear a degradation in your tone. There isn't any obvious degradation if you have it from half way onwards.

For me, if you're looking for a professional attenuator you need to prepare to spend 30 times more money. But if you're looking to solve your play-at-home-quieter issue, and you don't bother to build this yourself, the LBA is definitely worth the money.

I have a Joyo Zombie which comes in at 20w paired with a 1x12 Harley Benton Vintage Cab and I immediately had the problem with not being able to push the volume anywhere past 2 without it becoming too loud for my bedroom.

The Little Black Amp solves this problem immediately, I cranked the pot on it to the point where i can have my volume at about 12 on the amp and it now sounds completely clear, driven and full, where before with the volume on such a low setting the sound was very bassy and unclear, but this has allowed me to push the preamp tube and create a wonderful tone. Very very happy overall and would recommend!

Bough it to place it in the FX loop of a tube amp to play while at home an be able to crank up the amp.
It's a cheap alternative to an attenuator but it creates some hum that disappears once you unplug it. I have a digital multi-FX pedal with a master volume option that does the same job but creates no hum.
Overall I'd say it's OK but wouldn't buy it again, I'd rather save and buy a +€250 attenuator if that's the reason you're buying this for.
