Joyo BanTamP Bluejay

I have to say, this was probably the most surprising piece of gear I've bought for a while. I couldn't believe the overall sound this head deliver alongside with my alnico Jensen 10' speaker cabinet. I don't care if this is "fenderish" or not, I don't care about labels.
Thumbs up for the chinese brand that come up with this because the build quality and in terms of clean sound, compatibility with pedals and tube feel dynamics... for this price... I'm dazzled.

Versatile Fender amp approximation. Nice volume, lovely creamy breakup. Bluetooth option works well. Easy to handle. Would recommend it to a friend

Amazingly balanced sound, Treble, Mid & Bass.
I suppose a good matching speaker box is needed, mine is a single 12 inch, semi open back, nothing at all special, but that Joyo sound is so sweet.
Controls are plenty rugged & effective.
I have a few heads around this output size, the Vox mv is tacky, but the Joyo is "the amp" for me now..
Almost perfectly clean, a slight taste of 12ax7 inherent smooth sustain.
I love it. Acoustic or electric. No pedals for me thanks, I love this as is.

So, I bought this thing because I had tested it a couple years ago and really liked it. This time is no different.

The sound is warm, fat and punchy. Great for my sharp sounding Telecaster. However, one should be aware that this thing does NOT distort without pedals. It is almost completely clean and great for Country, Jazz and clean Blues. Overdrive pedals will be the best partner for this amp.

I am giving this a very high rating because of the price and sound combined. You can get better than this, but you can also get much worse.
