One of the best sockets
Small Shed Luthier 16.01.2022
Sturdy constuction, the cable jacks fit nicelly without any wobbles and therefore there is no crackling sound when you move around.
Indeed, very good rivetting and material.

P
Better than switchcraft!
Perwanie 17.03.2018
I was curious about the quality of Kluson his jack sockets. I was only familiar with Kluson tuners etc. This jack is amazing!! I used it directly on a fernandes decade jazzmaster and it fits perfectly fine. What i really like about this jack is that once you put your cable inside of it, its easy to pull out again also. By new Switchcraft sockets i often have dificulties with that, im afraid i will damage the pickguard. But this one goes out smoothly!! The sound is stable, no errors or cracks in the sound.

Pros:
Cheap
Easy to pull out
Does not have cracks in the sound
Clear sound
Stable
Fits jazzmaster ( if needed )

Cons
I can't really think about any cons :)

In short: good clear, strong, quality jack socket for replacement or upgrade for an fair price.

L
Was not needed for the old Stratocaster
Larry_A 18.05.2023
I noticed my guitar cable kept losing connection on my old Strat so I decided to get this jack socket as a replacement. However after some disassembly and further inspection I found that the original jack looked ok and that it was the cable plug that was a little short, so the connection wasn't latching properly. Perhaps there had been a standards change to plug length over the years (the guitar was bought in 1974). Anyway a bit of bending on the jack connections here and there is all it took to get it to latch onto the plug properly. I kept the new jack socket just in case.
