Very good product

I bought this stand because it can be folded into something really small, unlike some other stands that remain quite large and wide.
The stand is of high quality, it's K&M so it won't brak down any time soon. Does not tip over unless you really put some effort into it.
It can go high enough so it can hold flying V's.
The only downside is that there is no "body cushion" to keep the body of the guitar not touching the main rod of the stand, especially for V-shape guitars because they either rest with both wings on the bottom legs or with the back of the body against the main rod. The first method is a bit precise and close to the floor, the second way is not that bad if you could put some sort of foam on the rod itself.

I guess for normal guitars there would be no issues but if you have a V-shape guitar, there are things to be considered.

weird guitars

Explorer (Gibson) and Explorer-shaped derivative owners are familiar with the problem... I am happy to write that this one nails it for me. I am rather K & M devoted (I had my regrettable share of the numerous, inferior quality copies - usually tempted because their pricing) and for quite some time I have been looking for a K & M stand that holds my '76 Explorer, as my ''basic/default" K & M stands don't fit for that purpose. So I gave this a try.
Quality is outstanding (as expected) and made such that the guitars' finish is not at risk. It holds the hockeystick-necks perfectly balanced and safely.
One thing: the stand is quite slanted, so ideally, I would like it to be a bit heavier for stability reasons. (Or should that be the impression of stability...?) Never had a problem tough, it is a minor criticism.

Sweaty Rubber

Extremely disappointing, the design of this stand is excellent and was my choice after quite a bit of research but no one mentioned how the rubber sweats some sort of chemical onto the contact points. This goes for all K&M stands that use this "non-marring" rubber. I am baffled that this has not been pointed out as the potential to damage the finish of your guitar is massive. All K&M products should use the translucent silicone as on my guardian stand, I would pay twice the price for the peace of mind. I have reverted to exclusively buying Hercules stands, as I have never suffered this issue with them.

Probably the best quality guitar stand I've ever owned. Head and shoulders above any other stand I've used. Very simple and easy to use and folds down well for transporting.

Highly recommended, thank you Thomann.
