Pretty basic carrying bag
Leon Z. 03.04.2019
This carrying bag offers no protection, simply a canvas bag to carry your Baby Spider stand. Quality seems ok, size is just right - needs a small amount of manoeuvring to get the stand in nicely and close the zipper. I put some padding on the bottom and wrapped the handle with soft fabric and stage tape to make carrying easier on my palms. The balance of the bag when the stand is inside tilts to the base of the stand so keep that in mind when picking it up (and make sure you fold the stand arms and push them to the mic stand plate when folded to shift the weight of the arms for counterbalance). I also keep a small cable&pedal bag inside to balance it out further. Use this bag only for smoother rides, it will not withstand extended gigging or touring. If you can, pad the inside with something to keep your stand from scratches/dents.

So so coming from K&M

Not much to say other than it allows you to transport your expensive K&M spider keyboard stand around (with limitations).

This is not a well designed or thought out product. Firstly it has no padding what-so-ever so if you're a fussy freak like I am, you want to ensure this bag will protect your stand from the occasional knocks and bangs during transit.

I'm afraid this bag won't be able to offer much protection as it's so thin so in this instance I'm not really happy with it. The handles are also abnormally long and badly designed as the distribution of weight, once loaded, is heavily skewed to one side. This makes carry this bag very uncomfortable for any length of time unless you carry it on your shoulders.

I would not recommend this product and find the Ultimate Support bags offer much more protection and have a better build quality.

It fits.

This bag fits the Baby Spider, sure.

But I’ve never been impressed with the K&M carry bag quality. The fabric is medium weight and the zippers feel like they will die one day.

And most annoyingly, the baby spider is weighted more heavily down one end, meaning the carry straps don’t balance it at all!

The result is the bag ends up vertical more often than not, hurting my shoulder and putting extra strain on the stitches.

Small carry handle straps would be a nice addition, but they are not on this product.

I’d look for alternative bags, even if this bas is a perfect fit.

Perfect Size

Maybe strange to say but the bag is perfect to hold my baby spider pro stand with fitted additional arms. ( no need to remove them when packing up)

The bag has long straps and when the stand is in the bag it feels a little heavy towards one end which makes it a little awkward to carry. I have since tied some string to the strap to mark the "balance point" which has helped and more or less resolves the issue.

The bag is strong and looks like it will last - it is water proof and the zip seems to be of good quality so hopefully it will last.

I find it much easier to transport my stand in the bag rather than carrying it about.
