Nice Add-on to 18880 Stand
Magilla66 27.03.2019
Installs quickly, adjusts easily (no tools required

If you plan to gig with this and the Stacker A kit, you will have to remove screws and knobs, folding the arms down, and re-attaching the positioning screws/knobs for the entire stand to take up less space.

Adjusting the width of the stacker is fixed by the placement in the 18880 stand when fully set up for use. Smaller keyboards, modules, or even laptops will require the use of a tray at least 32" wide (the 18819 and 18824 trays are 25" wide, FYI).

18882 stacker
Mark1402 27.10.2014
Overall i was pleased with the stacker, though it takes a little time to set it up correctly. (If you want to adjust it, you have to take it it apart). My main criticism is that the posts on the end of the stacker, to stop the keyboard falling off the edge, were way too long and got in the way of the keys on my synth. I had to reduce them by 1cm and now they fit

Best off-the-shelf 3-tier keyboard stand
qwertylol 29.01.2023
I bought the three tiers as a package. They are great for temporary studio setups. I've never gigged with them. Setting up all 3 tiers takes a while, but once configured it can be quickly collapsed without changing anything but the width. Much better than a multi-tier X-style stand, which I will never go back to. Not perfect, though: To keep stand parts from getting in the way of your playing, the tiers must be spaced 6-8" apart, and (vertically) shorter keyboards may need a height boost.
For studio users like myself, if you have 2 or 3 keyboards to keep stacked long-term, and you're willing to spend a bit more money and time, DIY solutions yield better results. There are a few good methods: Wood and construction adhesive; structural pipe connectors such as MakerPipe; or a combination, which is what I use now.

I use these in a three tier gig setup. Lots of adjustment. I just leave everything together and fold up the 188800, Very happy to have a light
fast system for gigging. Cheers M
