Strong, light, well made and comfortable in use

I've had the opportunity to use this pole several times now out in the field, and I have to say I'm very pleased with it.

The pole is relatively inexpensive, is well made, with substantial dimensions but is nonetheless lightweight and, after an initial slight adjustment (4mm allen key/Imbuss) to the pole clamps, it holds a set position rock-solid. I've used it mostly with a Rode NT4 mic which is a heavy mic, so the lightness of this pole helps to offset that.

I particularly like the long padded handle which makes holding the pole for long periods very comfortable. The pole comes with a shoulder bag which is very substantial. All in all, well worth five stars.

Good lightweight boom

Nicely made boom, very, very light. Nice grip, feels like the locking mechanism will last for a decent length of time, the only reservation I have is that it feels a little unbalanced, it could do with a little more weight at the handle end, but perhaps that just my taste / the way I'm operating it. Overall an excellent product for a really good price.

Die Halterungen halten nicht.

An sich ein gutes Produkt bis auf die Tatsache, dass die Ausziehhalterungen (beide) nicht die Stangen auf Position halten. Habe einen BLIMP (Rode) oben angeschlossen, der mit Mikrofon wirklich nicht sonderlich schwer ist, aber wohl schwer genug um die maximal ausgefahrenen Ausziehstangen, trotz dafür vorgesehenen Halterungen, unter ihrem eigenen "Gewicht" einbrechen zu lassen. Das passiert schon bei ca. 45° Neigung. Kabelführung ist innenliegend. Hätte bei dem Preis etwas mehr erwartet... Da frag ich mich ob K&M bei diesem Produkt sich etwas dabei gedacht hat?
