Looked for drop B fitting string on my tele and decided to check this ones. So what, drop B sounds tight af, tone is brilliant with nonamebuckers and alumitone deathbucker both, crispy highs we love are here as well. Only thing im disappointed by is that there is no coating and you should replace them after a month of 24/7 riffing, but thats ok because of their nice price i guess. If you need to send your strings to the bottom of the ocean - pick this ones, tension is pleasant in drop B or A. Also they never broke, what i consider good.

Ich habe diese Saiten gekauft um eine Ibanez mit 25,5" Mensur auf Standard B bzw. Drop A Tuning stimmen zu können. Die Gitarre hat ein blockiertes Floyd Rose. Damit war es kein Problem diese dicken Saiten aufzuziehen ohne irgendwo nacharbeiten zu müssen. Die Saiten klingen ordentlich und schlabbern in diesen Tunings auch kein bisschen.
Beim Aufziehen ist leider die .017er Saite gerissen und musste aus einem anderen Satz ersetzt werden. Ob das an einem Produktionsfehler lag oder andere Gründe hatte kann ich leider nicht genau sagen.
Die dicken Saiten machen definitiv einen guten Job.

Bonnes cordes mais pas pour tous les accordages

Avec ces cordes, J'ai voulu tenter le Drop G sur une de mes guitares (diapason 25.5).
Le resultat n'est pas au rendez vous... il faudrait que je teste avec d'autres cordes/tirant pour voir si cela vient des cordes (pas adaptées?) ou de la guitare (micros pas top?), je n'ai pas assez de recul à l'heure actuelle.
En tout cas, accordé si bas ça manque de précision dans les graves, les accords manquent de definition.
À tester sur un accordage moins extrème!
