Was really happy to get this set of strings - mostly playing jazz so very much used to heavier gauge strings. This set gets me exactly what I wanted on my Steinberger. Still soft enough for bending but not too soft to be able to get the sound and more complex chords right. The stock transtrem spring handles the strings just fine - to the contrary to what some people are saying on the forums, no spring change required. Will buy again when run through the sets I bought

Meh!... Just OK and perhaps less than OK
j0ng0m 31.12.2020
Bought this set for my new GT Steinberger, the overall quality is just OK, nothing too diferent about this double ball end set, certainly not in the level of D'addario.
The first string lasted a month (and I really really but really rare brake strings), so was this just a lemon set? maybe, just maybe, but because i'm not going to try them again I'd say just meh!
Now, if you need a 11-50 double ball end set, then you are out of luck because you'd just have to buy them, or get the adapter for normal strings, or change the steinberger's nut.
Meh!... not spending my money in these strings again

g
one of the few Steinberger 11s, luckily a great string
gwEm 29.11.2019
These are my favourite strings for Steinberger. I like to run thicker strings on my Steinberger since the tension feels lower on these guitars. They are a quality string and can only recommend them.
Unfortunately there was an error. Please try again later.

Dicke Saiten für Headless Gitarre
Phil__ 31.05.2020
