Any concerns that a smaller scale might come at the expense of a full sound are unwarranted, however, as this is ensured by the woods used for the back, sides, and neck of the instrument, and can be amplified using the integrated preamp if required. Reliable tuning stability is provided by the guitar’s robust machine heads, which also feature visually appealing black buttons. A deep cutaway gives players unrestricted access to the upper registers of the ovangkol fingerboard, so they can also hone their soloing skills without having to sprain their wrist in the process!
