Great for all occasions!

I play in a 6 piece covers band and all but the drummer use these wireless packs as our IEMs. We play primarily in pubs, hotels and wedding venues. I bought one set to test before everyone else got theirs and so it has been used at least once a week for around 6 months at the time of writing.

I have found there to be very few issues with the sound quality of the unit although it is worth remembering that quality is linked to the headphones used, cheap/low quality headphones will produce a lower quality sound.

I have a wireless instrument pack on my bass as well and sometimes like to wander around when playing (dancing with the crowd etc). I have managed to leave the building and get about 150m down the road with no drop-outs (the instrument pack of a different brand didn't fare as well).

Overall I think this is a great semi-pro IEM system, well worth the money. I have tried some cheaper alternatives over the years and always found that they are just a bit lack-luster. The U308 on the other hand was a breath of fresh air and worked flawlessly out of the box.

I bought this because I was worried I wouldn't hear myself sing at my friend's gig.

To that end, this product works very well. I used a pair of Shure SE215-CK's and was able to enjoy a mix just for me, letting me hear my voice clearly. Listening to recordings of the gig, I am pleased with my vocals and it is all down to this product.

I like how easy it is to set it up and get going. It weighs very little and is not a bad looking unit from a distance.

As for cons, it does feel plastic like and doesn't look that great up close. I did experience some interference while I was waiting in the wings, but once I got on stage I had no issues. My primary concern was proper monitoring, to alleviate my anxiety about singing out of tune due to not hearing myself properly.

So, all in all. A great package for the price asked. I just wanted to hear myself sing in a noisy environment, and it delivered. Looking forward to using this in my upcoming gigs.

I bought this in combination with the LD Systems U308 BPG and the LD Systems U500 RK 2, to have my wireless in-ear and guitar wireless both on radio frequency bands and have everything snugly built-in in one 19" rack space. It looks very pretty, and I'm very happy with the limited rack real-estate it takes up.

It is all plastic, but relatively well-constructed. It runs on two AA-batteries and the battery door isn't too flimsy. A little caution around the antennas, goes a long way, and I haven't had any problems with the built-quality of the sender. Okay controls on the unit and the channel selection is easy enough (set on both sender and receiver and you're done).

With only 12 channels to choose from, it does not have a particularly broad range, and I ran into trouble because of that – having to change channels on the fly in a live situation. Both the IEM and the BPG use the same range, so that might be one of the reasons for frequency overlap. The manual is not overly insightful when it comes to the exact frequencies.

The menu is nice and the features are limited, but handy.

The main constraint: I play with another guitar player (+1 IEM and +1 guitar wireless), a bass player (+1 IEM and +1 bass wireless) and a lead vocalist (+1 IEM), so it can become challenging to find some open range.

I bought this as a semi-pro, and it is fairly okay, as it lives up to my expectations, but it is not quite on par with my current requirements. A simple case of "buy nice or buy twice", and I should have invested a little more.

I really like the design and the easy of use, though, so it is an excellent choice as an entry-level wireless IEM. But it is not quite professional enough and I will soon be in the market for something slightly better spec'ed and more rugged.
