In addition to the PURE TUBE microphone, the Studio Set contains a compact power supply, a dedicated seven-pin XLR connection cable, a magnetic pop filter, and an elastic shockmount. With its minimalist signal path free of semiconductors and capacitors, the Lewitt PURE TUBE achieves an ultra-low self-noise level of just 7dB(A), making it one of the quietest tube microphones available on the market. Its 12AU7/ECC82 tube delivers the characteristic warmth and subtle harmonic richness associated with classic tube microphones, while its cardioid polar pattern effectively isolates the intended sound source by rejecting ambient noise. At the core of the Lewitt PURE TUBE is a gold-sputtered 1" (25.4mm) diaphragm capsule, featuring a frequency range of 20Hz to 20kHz and a dynamic range of 125dB. The microphone handles a maximum SPL of 132dB, making it suitable for both soft and powerful vocal performances without distortion. With a sensitivity of 28.2mV/Pa, the output signal is particularly strong, delivering clarity and detail even during quieter passages. The rugged zinc-alloy housing protects the delicate internal components, ensuring long-term reliability and years of professional use. The present set includes a 5m XLR cable that connects the microphone to the power supply unit, which in turn connects to the mains.
