A Real Beauty

This is the snare drum I have been looking for. It's stunning in appearance (black finish with brass hardware) and the sound is excellent.

It comes in 2 sizes, 5" and 6.5". I went for the smaller model as most of my playing is in jazz or folk situations although perhaps a rock drummer might go for the larger size.

The only problem I have met is being aware how powerful a sound this drum can produce and remembering to adjust my playing accordingly. However when I play with a brass band even the 5" version can hold its own.

Klasse Snare Drum mit super Optik

Wie der Name schon sagt, ist die "Black Beauty" eine richtige "Schönheit" also ein echter Blickfang. Dazu hat die Snare Drum einen schönen warmen Klang und richtig gestimmt eine super Ansprache und einen knackigen Sound. Sie lässt sich sowohl sehr filigran in einem Orchester spielen, als auch wenn gewünscht sehr "brutal" in einer Live Band. Für diesen Preis kaufen sich zwar manche vielleicht schon ein Auto, andere halt eben eine Klasse Snare.

Warmer, schöner Klang mit gut ausgewogenen Obertonspektrum. Super Ansprache, guter Teppich.
Klingt in allen Bereichen gut, persönlich gefällt mir die Stimmlage im "mittleren" bis "hohen" Stimmbereich am Besten. Hier bekommt man einen sehr schönen, knackigen Snare Sound der einfach eine Klasse für sich ist.
