This lump of barely fitting plastic does hold extra pages on Manhasset stands, but that is where all its positives end.
This would be higher quality made of stamped, folded, and filed sheet metal, and I would pay more for that if it existed. Alas, it is plastic. The plastic bends slightly because it's not fitted very well to the stand. Being too tight is better than being too loose, but is it too much to ask for a perfect fit?
There are thin curved sections. It feels like this part will break after about a year of constant usage, so unless I keep it under a plexiglass museum lid, I don't have hope it will last long.
The distributor puts two cheap paper stickers on the bottom which do not peel away nicely, leaving an ugly white mess. Have some adhesive remover or a ton of patience if you want to remove the sticker and have a professional appearance.
Overall, this is trash, and I don't like it. It's better than putting two stands next to one another for larger tunes, but the Maestro 91 continues a trend of Manhasset shifting to bargain manufacturing methods in its newer products.
