Bargain banger!

I ordered this after seeing them online for a while but struggled to find many reviews online but the majority of what I heard about them was extremely positive.
When it showed up it was in prefect condition, packaged in wrap, the bass box and then inside of another shipping box full of paper packaging which kept it safe and dent free. It also showed up in tune and with a super comfortable action hight.
The tones available from this are awesome and you can get a massive range of sound. The initial sound I got from it on a clean tone through my amp was brilliant, but when I ran it into my AI to record i was awesome.
The rolled frets and natural neck are super smooth and make the playing experience a win every time you pick it up. Its pretty light compared to my other basses but don't find that an issue at all.
The only small things I can pick at are the stacked knobs tend to move together rather than individually unless you hold both but it's not an issue for me as I found the sound I was after and just left it set at that, and that there were some very minor marks around the edge of the bodywork by the pickups, but I really had to look to find them.
All in all its a comfortable, light bass with a great neck and some killer tone you can tweak to your preference. Really couldn't recommend this bass enough!

Bass bang for the bucks
Guitartron 15.08.2021
So I took a chance on Thomann and a chance on the Marcus Miller Me Bass. So far soo FANTASTIC! First off the challenges... The outer box looked like it had really been beat up by the shipper, and was damp (this is during a heat wave), so I was scared when I opened it up. But alas Thomann had double boxed it and everything inside was safe and sound! Now for the negatives (realizing this is a 5 star review as these are very minor): Weight, the bass is lighter than I am used to, which causes a bit of neck dive. The other thing was a bit of fret sprout (it comes with rolled edges). Now a week after the traumatic transatlantic trip and 10 minutes with a file and it plays beautifully! Sound is great love the pickups, love the neck and feel of the bass. IT plays great, stays in tune and sounds fat (it's a good thing). So I will be saving up for another (thinking the fretless this time) and will be shopping with Thomann in the future.

Das neue Klangwunder
Martin Maurer 29.01.2021
