B
Quality Bass at an affordable price
Brian9521 15.02.2026
What an instrument for the money! Its my second bass after starting on a very cheap bass. Went for the 5 string as I like the idea of the extended range. Playing a low E at the 5th fret is cool, and being able to approach a low E from D is also cool.

Highlight of this bass has to be the rolled fretboard edges. They are just so comfortable in the hand.

The electronics are great, the built in preamp is powerful and a great range of sounds are possible.

P
HORRIBLE!
Probass 11.02.2026
Okay, wouldn't be that horrible if the bridge wouldn't be set off the centre! I've never seen this with any bass, even with the cheapest ones: The bridge has been set several millimeters to the G-side, so it's nowhere near the centre. The G-string is unplayable. The body is light but feels like trash, just very poor quality.

The sound of the bass is very plastic, the pickups have a lot of upper mids and highs so it's clanky. The electronics aren't musical at all, just horrible sounding. The pots are cheap plastic.

Comes with decent strings though, DR Dragon Skins, and that gives the bass one extra star. The finish of the frets are quite horrible, but otherwise than that the neck feels quite great.

I didn't expect the bass to be amazing with this price point, but I've seen a lot of better quality basses that are cheaper than this one. I was seeking just usable bass for gigs that I wouldn't have to worry about, but this isn't it. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.
