nice. a little bit too soft for a 4.3 marimba. perfect for low to mid range playing. excellent grip. weight is perfect, well balanced.

Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit den DHB4 mallets. Sie produzieren einen warmen, weichen ton, vor allem im tiefen Bereich der marimba. Für manche Stücke sind die DHB4 allerdings schon zu weich. Ich benutze sie als teil eines graduated set mit als bass-mallet einen DHB4, zwei DHB3 in der Mitte und einen DHB2 für den oberen Bereich. Diese Kombination klingt wirklich super, und ist für sehr viele stücke anwendbar.

Tung kølle med god klang

Marimba One's Double Helix 4 kommer fra en, hvad jeg synes er en fantastisk serie. Det er en serie jeg klart kan anbefale. Køllerne i serien kan give en hver marimba til at få en blød og rund klang. DHB 4 virker bedst på de midterste 3 oktaver på marimbaen, hvor den er en favorit for mig. Køllerne kan dog til tider virke lidt tunge i enden, når man spiller hurtige stykker, men det giver en rigtig god lyd på de mere melankolske steder med masser af hvirvler.
Men generelt en lidt tung kølle, men med en lækker og blød lyd.

Olen nyt viikon verran näillä uusilla malleteilla soitellut ja pakko sanoa että en kadu yhtään. Malletit ovat omaan käteen juuri sopivan painoiset, ja raaka puinen varsi tuntuu käteen miellyttävältä. Myös saundi on aivan erinomainen koko Adamsin 4.3-oktaavisen marimban alueella. Ei voi muuta kuin suositella!!
