The Marshall Electronics CV605-U3 is a remote-controlled pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) camera with a professional 2-megapixel sensor. Built-in motors allow it to silently and smoothly rotate sidewaysby 270 degrees and tilt vertically by 60 degrees. Combined with the 5x optical zoom, a large area can be flexibly monitored. The CV605-U3 provides a maximum HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels at 60 frames per second. The image can be output via HDMI, USB-C or the IP interface (H.265/H.264). In addition, the camera is officially certified for the popular Zoom video conferencing platform and is also compatible with OBS Studio and Barco ClickShare, for example. The scope of delivery of the CV605-U3 includes a remote control and a power supply unit.

Practical one-cable solution

Depending on the location and purpose, the CV605-U3 can be placed on a table or mounted upside down on a ceiling or wall for which a separately available adapter is required for wall or ceiling mounting. The PTZ camera can be controlled via remote control, USB-C, network port (IP) or RS232 interface. Marshall Electronics offers suitable camera controllers such as the VS-PTC-200 PTZ or the VS-PTC-IP for convenient remote control. In addition, the CV605-U3 enables a convenient one-cable setup, requiring only a single Ethernet cable for signal transmission (image and external audio), camera control and power (PoE+). This saves costs and keeps the installation effort low.

The Marshall Electronics CV605-U3 is primarily aimed at professional users in a commercial environment, but can also be used for private purposes. Selective or simultaneous image output via HDMI, USB-C and Ethernet provides flexibility in terms of connection and cabling. The wide-angle optical zoom lens offers an impressive viewing angle of 85° (3mm) to 20° (15mm) with smooth transitions. Add to this a 10x digital zoom range to get even closer to the action. Thanks to its high sensor sensitivity, the PTZ camera delivers a sharp, clear image even in poor and changing light conditions - for example during video conferences, live streaming or podcasts. In addition, the CV605-U3 has a standby mode (lens pointing downwards) to maintain privacy when no video conference is taking place.

Gute Kamera

Die Kamera überzeugt durch ein sehr gutes Bild. Ich setze diese ebim Streaming mit Vimeo Livestream Studio per RTSP ein, was problemlos funktioniert. Das Bild kann auch bei 20 Meter Entfernung locker noch ohne erkennbare Einbußen mit einem Bildausschnitt verwendet werden. Auch die Software VMS erfüllt sehr gut ihren Zweck.

Enfin une Caméra PTV qui fonctionne !

C'est la troisième camera que je teste et enfin c'est la bonne !
Après avoir commander des camera PTZ de prix équivalent chez des concurrents comme "R-Amazon" l'image n'était pas au rendez-vous. J'ai donc commander cette caméra sur Thomann et enfin elle correspond à ce que je voulais.
- Silencieuse
- Les presets permettent de sauvegarder la position mais aussi les réglages de focus (les autres ne le faisaient pas)
- Le son doit être repris par un micro externe ou sortie mix (Mais je n'ai pas élevé d'étoile pour ça car ce n'est pas dérangeant pour ce type de caméra)
-L'image est parfaite pour cette gamme de prix (Je tourne des clips et filme des concerts). Si on monte la fréquence, la compression commence à se voir mais comme je filme en 25p c'est très bien et exploitable. C'est la meilleure image des 3 caméras que j'ai testé.
Conclusion : pour moins de 1000€ il sera difficile de trouver mieux en camera PTZ
