On opening the box, I immediately noticed the case was manufactured by TKL for Martin. The aluminium belt surrounding the case is heavily scratched and is unevely attached to the case. This caused the case failed to stand firm on the floor. It wobbles back and forth when I try to stand it up. There is a high tendency to fall. And some of the buckles are very diffiult to lock and requires heavy force to do so. Inside the case there are quite a bit of broken pieces of chips and dusts. I tried to vacuum the inside but the chips are quite firmly adhered to the fabrics. I dare not to put my brand new guitar in it, I am afraid it might scratch the finsih of the guitar. The original SC13E Martin gigbag is 100% much better than this thing.
This is one of the worst purchase I have ever made. I regret the very poor quality of this irrationally expensive guitar case. I do not recommend this product. Trust me, save yourself some bucks.

Finally, a Martin hardshell case for the SC-13 ...

When I first heard about this new case I searched sites for suppliers all over Europe to try and fine, and of course Thomann were the very first to be able to send it to me ...
First impression is that it is a very good quality and robust case, which fits the Martin SC shape perfectly ... just be aware that it is a slight departure from the previous design of Martin's molded hardshell cases I have previously purchased or obtained, in that it does not have their logo embossed into the lid of the case, it just has a small riveted Martin logo plate, which is a pity ...
