Ursprünglich wurde ich beraten auf andere Serien, da die Pure Alloy Custom Cymbals eher für die etwas "härteren" Musikarten gedacht sind. Ich muss sagen das finde ich persönlich nicht. Ich empfinde die Becken eher als ein gutes Mittelmaß das nicht zu schrill ist und einen volumenvollen Klang besitzt. Natürlich spielt die Optik auch immer etwas mit und die ist bei dieser Serie von Meinl einfach nur der Hammer!!!

Ich nutze das Splash nun seit einigen Wochen im Verbund mit einem Classics Custom Dark Splash. Der Sound ist schön kurz und warm und schmiegt sich damit perfekt ins Bild mit den restlichen Byzance Becken.

Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass sich das Becken aufgrund der Dicke recht schnell verformt.

Alles in allem ist dies ein empfehlenswertes Splash, dass sich ins Bild schmiegt aber sich dennoch, über die anderen Becken hinweg, durchsetzen kann.
