This is the quietest shaker from the Luis Conte shaker collection. Can't say I really use it much as it is mostly too quiet for the type of music I play. Having said that, Im sure it would be great for small, acoustic sets. Produces a very similar, if not identical, sound to the LP Soft Shaker Shaker. Produces consistent and blended sounds, good for effects too.

very smooth

it is a miracle shaker - very soft and smooth sound! I got it for live performances and for recording. And I'd say it fits pretty well into any task! It is not loud like some other shakers - yet the rich in details and very responsive.

Wonderful Sound

Very soft and pleasant sound. Suited for low- to mid-level acoustic performances or recordings. I just love listening to this even on it's own.

Just what the doctor ordered

Very lightweight, comfortable & playable.

Great sound, very light and unobtrusive, with a nice thunk when you whip it. Probably would get swallowed up in a live situation but this is the studio shaker so that's to be expected.
