These stands will ruin your congas finish
pyakrasi 13.04.2021
bought those as compatible stands for Luis Conte congas (conga and tumba). While craftmanship and stability are very nice, they have a drastic property that ruins all the purpose - rubber handles that touch your congas will transfer black paint from them into conga surface.

Unfortunately stains that were acquired this way got absorbed into congas surface too deep and there's no way ro remove them without intoducing at least some damage to the polish.
A disappointment.

Conga Stand

These are the best conga stands you can get.
Durable, easy to set up, rock solid!
Once you have them adjusted to the correct height they're the same every time you play. Some 'premium' models have strange nuts and adjustment thing. Don't get them, get these. They just work and that's what you want, right?
PS Make sure you get the stands intended for your size conga.

Nice and Sturdy

These menial stands go great with the Meinl Luis Conte congas. Really no complaints, they do the job if you want to stand up and play. They are really solid and do not slip around which is the most important thing. Go for it!
