It works fine and it can be washed (with care) and reused. The whole pad easily fits in the palm of your hand, so I'm not sure about the term "large" that is used in the product description. Just saying...

Ich habe mir das Pad nach toller Beratung vom Thomann Team zugelegt. Bei meiner Nylonakustik ist des Öfteren die A-Seite gerissen. Mit dem weichen Pad konnte ich den Steg minimal nachschleifen, ohne Schäden am Steg zu verursachen.
