Its a ok stand, and thats about it. It does not fall over, but the quality is poor, would probably go for the millenium boom stand for kick mics

Its the worst solution to record bass drum , as there is no boom to drive it inside the drum.
If for a reason you want to record the reso head or a cabinet lets say , it will work, but its too difficult to use without a boom that is not worth it.Buy something else.
