A step up from towels and blankets.

I used to transport my snare drum folded into a blanket, placed in a shopping bag. As for my bass drum and toms - no bag whatsoever, just a blanket on them in the trunk, to keep from grinding on each other too much.

Then I got these bags and, of course, it's a big step up. The drums are a lot easier to carry, they're protected much better, the whole transporting operation just looks much much neater.

However, this is a budget buy - the bags are not super high-quality. Had problems with the bass drum bag zipper from the get-go - it tends to get stuck easily. The inner layer of the bass drum bag got torn on the lugs pretty fast just from jimmying the bass drum in in a normal way, and now its a pain to get it in, because the lugs keep getting stuck in the holes. There is also not much protection - the drum bags are quite thin, so I would recommend these only for transportation in a car - not a gear filled van, not by any means an airplane.

Otherwise - good for the price!

Mostly happy

For the price these are ok. They'll allow you to store and move your drums around with a degree of protection.

I've seen better bags for about 5 times the price, but they aren't 5 times as good which pretty much says it all with this brand.

Sizes are accurate. Zips are good. Handles will likely fail over a period of time, but so would other budget brands.

Padding isn't as good as the higher end millenium range, approximately 70% as thick. Also the deluxe have plastic base and corner protectors and extra rivets and nylon on the handles as well as a higher quality feeling nylon material. I've got the deluxe snare case so I can compare the two cases next to each other.

Minor detail, but despite being rammed with silica gel sachets, my large tom bag came with some white mould on it and stank like rotting fish. It did clean up with a soapy cloth and aired out fine though after a bit of time.

I think if it was local I'd have returned it for an exchange because otherwise very happy.

Buy them now!

I didn't even think for a second and from the first time I used them I found the utility of this product. For less than 70 euros you can have a complete set of bags that are very good for packing up your drum set, move it to another studio and bring it back. Same for local touring (where no plane trips are included) and for every situation where you need to unmount your drum kit, move it, play somewhere else and return it.

Much faster to do everything than the plastic hard cases and of course they need less space. You'll be amazed how comfortable they are. First time I've used them to move my drum set, as most people have hard cases, almost everyone in the studio told me how awesome it was to see that with a normal drum bag set you can move your drums easy, fast and with almost no effort at all. I highly recommend them.

I've been drumming for a long time and have had many drum cases/bags and got these to store my kit during lockdown. No frills and if you're transporting with these i'd carry the bass drum by the hoops because I wouldn't trust the handle over time. But for the price you just cant complain.
