T
Excellent stand
TheMightyProphet 16.10.2017
I've received this stand with the Yamaha E353 deluxe package.

It is a really nice stand, solid and when I play it is not moving around. Very well built.
Is the perfect combination with the Millenium KB-2006 Keyboard Bench, which was also included in the deluxe pack with the E353.

The height of the stand with the height of the bench are perfect for me, which I'm around 1.82m tall.

Pros:
- Well built. with nice rubber ends. Several height adjustment positions.
- It stands solid and is not wobbly, even under load.
- Lightweight, easy to move or for people who travel alot.

Cons: Could not find any.

Recommended for light keyboards as well as heavier ones. On my height setting, the top legs almost cover all the length of the e353 keyboard, so stability is not an issue. The pictures on the website show the stand on the highest position, hence it looks like anything will fall or tip over, but this is not the case, as the bottom legs are very long (longer than the top stands), providing great stability.

Also this is fitted with rubber ends, so it will not damage the wooden floor or the carpet. Excellent product.

b
Sturdy enough, great build quality

I can't believe I found a keyboard stand that's so cheap and solid at the same time. This level of quality is usually indicative of a high price, not in this case.

The locking mechanism is pretty standard, with a protruding bolt that fixes the legs at predetermined heights. All four legs are rubberised on both sides (8 contact points in total), providing excellent grip and stability.

At lower heights, it's not really that good for 49-ers and below, unless you somehow have a really long keyboard with tons of padding around keys. Of course, this is because the stand has to be spread further apart at lower heights: it can either be short and wide or tall and narrow. I'm using it with an Alesis V49 keyboard and for my use it's pretty close -- not uncomfortable, but just a few centimetres shy of being perfect.

It's reasonably compact when folded, but don't expect miracles.

In summary, absolutely get this stand if you're on a budget and have a 61 keys and above keyboard.

Does the job
aamlingen 11.12.2020
As far as fancy features go, this stand has none - but you probably won't miss them anyway.

A practical, inexpensive and reasonably sturdy stand, its friction pads does stop skidding on the floor, but does not provide any satisfaction in terms of traction for the instrument on top. The readjustment handle is somewhat clunkily designed, with a pull-lever instead of a more reliable screw mechanism.

Does the job in the studio, but I would probably not use this on stage with a full-size electric piano, if sturdier options were available.

P
Simple yet efficient!
Prateek 10.06.2020
Use:
1. For MIDI Keyboard
2. As a support for an extra standing desk (used with a spare wooden plank on top; When recording voice and editing at the same time)

Pros:
Multiple height levels at an affordable price

Cons:
The lever gets tighter as time passes. But nothing that can't be managed.

Overall Opinion: A good buy for those with limited space in their room.
