Very well made recorder

I think the sound is very good so I gave it a 5 star for sound. To be honest though I have nothing to compare it to since this is my first recorder. I am just starting to learn and chose moeck because of all the good things people were saying about this brand. As for construction, I can comment. The instrument is extremely well made. It is very solid and its surface is very smooth. It is a pleasure to look at and hold. The pictures on this site do not do it justice. Just by holding it you can tell it is a quality instrument.

Having played a cheap recorder for years and put up with harsh tones and poor pitch I am now inspired to play every day with the delightfully rich tone and accuracy of pitch of this beautiful instrument - and it looks good as well!

Ein Hingucker mit heller und reiner Intonation

Das Einspielen dauerte ein wenig länger, als gewohnt; dafür belohnt die Flöte jetzt mit sehr langem Durchhalten, einem hellen Ton bei reiner Intonation. Auch das sonst sehr heikle tiefe F klingt sauber und in gleicher Stärke wie die Nachbartöne. In den überblasenen Lagen ist die Ansprache extrem schnell und sauber, die Töne klingen sehr hell, aber nicht schrill. Das Rosenholz ist ein echter Hingucker, allerdings vergeht die sehr hell-rötliche Färbung auch ohne längere Lichteinwirkung sehr schnell und wird dunkler. Wünschenswert wäre ein Hinweis des Herstellers zum Holz-Artenschutzabkommen. Soweit mir bekannt, darf diese Flöte nur mit Genehmigung auf Auslandsreisen mitgenommen werden. (?)

Très beau son (à part le mi bémol aigu, seule réserve que j'ai et qui m'a incité à ne pas mettre 5 étoiles dans cette catégorie), facile à jouer (les aigus sortent sans problème et sans forcer), belle fabrication, jolie flûte.
En résumé : Très satisfait de cette soprano.
