Great value, sounds great, could use blend and volume controls.

I'm using this with my basses (G&L SB-2, G&L L-2000, Ibanez SR-300). It works great with the bass. It's huge funky fun and sounds great. Get it!
It's not perfect in two ways. First, there is no output volume or blend control. Makes sense in a cheaper pedal, but it can be felt if the rest of your chain is sensitive to dynamics. When you turn the autowah on, the resonant frequency can get a bit too loud...
Next, sometimes (for my more silent bases) I need to put the sensitivity to max. So the range is perhaps not tuned for bass. It's fine, but it might be interesting to have more range.
Overall, I love it. For the price it's a super-useful and fun pedal!

Buying pedals not a cheap way of spending your time.. But when you buy a Mooer pedal, it is like buying a chocolate cookie. It feels like a snack, because it is small and cheaply priced...
In fact, this is a quite good chocolate cookie that surprised me.
I compared it to the "Carl Martin Ottawa", that is more then double the price.. The Carl Martin Ottawa sounds more sterile and has volume issues on certain settings (sudden rise of a lot of volume.. ) and it sounds thinner and cleaner.
Some people say it can take a while to find your settings.
Yes of course you need to find your own ideal settings, but this is the case with every pedal. The knobs are a bit small and feel heavy, but this is you can get used to it and it is not a problem when you like the sound of a pedal.
Despite that, i agree with one other review: a blend knob to mix the dry and affected signal would be the cherry on the cake. The mix is, to my ears, set at 35-50% of dry signal, which helps with note definition. I would have loved to be able to set it at 75 - 100 % wet signal.
Yes, a blend knob would add 15-20 % even more fun, it would be a heaven pedal. But this is very very nit picking and i forget about it mssing a blend knob when using it.
When i turn on this pedal, i forget time and because i am just having fun and enjoying it.
I think this is the most important factor in a pedal and the biggest compliment you can give it.

Works with bass
HeinvonderWerft 12.08.2021
I got this for usage with bass guitar. It works well, sounds good, is easy to use. There is no bass loss, so it is easy to recommend.
Settings are a bit limited compared to other envelopes, but a good basic pedal.
