Having previously tried cheaper brands of XLR connector, and learned my lesson the hard-way, I returned to Neutrik and was not disappointed. XLR connectors are not all made equal and, especially for more than three pins, it's worth paying a little more for the increased robustness. Cheaper makes often won't tolerate re-soldering well and/or have inferior plastic parts that melt or split easily costing more in the long-run. I've even had some that don't mate correctly with chassis sockets because of poor tolerances on the shell dimensions. Stick with Neutrik !

Best XLR connectors on the planet
Ronen 16.11.2019
I have been using hundreds of Neutrik connectors for years and never had a single failure. They are nicely built, very tough, and solder-friendly. Can't recommend them enough!

Always same quality with neutral.
I had face no signal loose. I am using his connectors in standard midi connection from my gig to my midi equipped midi control. I am using with D-Type Neutrik 5 pin female chases connector. Locking option is fantastic and solid for touring guys.

Always excellent!

They might be a little more expensive than other brands but they are worth it because of the time and pain (burned fingers) saved when assembling them
