This transformer is nothing else than the exact equivalent to the STUDER 1.022.405 that's originally fitted as line input transformer in the famous REVOX PR99 MKII tape recorder, and so it is extremely useful as replacement part...but it should be better known for its overall qualities too:
Not only it provides a remarkably wide and flat response, it's bandpass is also incredibly extended in the low end compared to its small size and this with a very good saturation level .
...By far the best modulation transformer among all those of such a compact size!
It's only drawback related to it's small size: with the risk of saturation,I wouldn't use it to modulate directly a power amp, but for all the other applications, this little tranny is a pure wonder...

Meine Applikation: potentialfreier Ausgang für einen hochwertigen Bassvorverstärker
Der Übertrager klingt gut und durchsichtig.
Für die kleine Bauform ist er hoch aussteuerbar: bei 4,1Vrms beginnen die Verzerrungen erst unterhalb von 35Hz / bei Rechteckansteuerung mit +-7,5V (!) geht er erst unterhalb von 60Hz in die Knie.
Die Verarbeitung ist gut.
Leider ist der Übertrager mittlerweile recht teuer geworden.
