Amazing sound, but expensive

I am using it in front of a semi clean Matchless combo, with teles and strats. I have no idea if it sounds like a real Magnatone should (never played one), but I can dial in a sound that gives me "more" of my sound from my setup.

My goal was to add some grit from the pedal to my amp and add the vibrato as a always on effect. The vibrato...oh my god, just SUBLIME! The vibrato sounds just fantastic with pretty much all settings. The sound is super organic, expressive and "alive". One can "feel" the sound, not only hear it.

The only negative thing I can think of is the high price. But to be honest, the price is justified because the of the great sound, superb build quality and the fact that the pedal feels, behaves and sounds more like an amp than a pedal.

Ich war schon sehr angetan von UAFX- Modellern im digitalen Sektor. Da gefällt mir der Dream65 sehr gut fürs Pedalboard im Proberaum (mit SD Power Stage 170 und 112er Box) und für Live direkt in die Endstufe. Zuhause bin ich penibler mit dem Klang und habe mir schließlich einen Ruck gegeben und den Magma57 bestellt nach endloser Internetrecherche. Analoge Technik für passables Modelling? Das geht? Jo. Das geht gut, um nicht zu sagen sehr gut! Der Magma57 hat was sehr organisches. Über den Power Stage 170 in den Lautsprecher sehr viel RocknRoll und zuhause in die Returnbuchse meines Suhr Badger 30 wie ein neuer, ganz andersartiger Röhrenverstärker. Etwas, dass ich noch nicht besessen hatte. Was mir aber wirklich gefällt. Die enthaltenen Modulationseffekte hauen einen um. Man muss jedoch viel mit Lautstärke und Tonregler spielen, wenn man die drei enthaltenen Modulationen auswählt. Untere Stellung sehr höhenbetont bis obere Stellung sehr tiefenbetont im Gesamtklang. Aber alles ein absoluter Knaller. Was ich nicht ganz hinbekomme, ist ein gänzlich cleaner Sound mit Humbucker oder P90. Klingt trotzdem alles super natürlich und warm und organisch. Bisher der überzeugendste mir bekannte Ampmodeller. Ich habe das Gefühl, auf diese Weise den Klang und das Handling eines tollen neuen Röhrenverstärker erworben zu haben, der mich sonst das vielfache gekostet hätte. Bei UAFX (außer Dream sind mir noch Lion und Enigmatic gut bekannt) ist das umständlicher und teilweise verwirrend. Toll, was die Ingenieure bei Origin Effects sich da ausgedacht haben. I like...

Mein liebstes Sofa - Lautstärke Tool

In wirklich laut kam es bei mir noch nicht zum Einsatz. Macht meinen Marschall Plexi Clone nochmal dicker fetter runder und das Vibrato hat nix mit Boss Tretminen o.ä. zu tun, eine höchst angenehme Klasse für sich. Wie immer, alles Geschmackssache, bin Gitarrensozialisiert Mitte der 70 iger. Der Driveregler könnte etwas weniger feinfühlig zu regeln sein, das wars auch an Kritik. Mit etwas Raum hintendran ganz ganz wunderbar, auch das Gain plus samt Färbung on top.
