I bought this Otega RMA30-WB as a bit of a gamble as their were no reviews I could find. I believe this is due to the newness of this model.

It came set to factory standard and sounded pretty good. But after I adjusted the bridge to balance the tone at the 12th threat and lowered the action slightly with the tiny truss rod adjustment it now sounds amazing.

This is an absolute gem of an instrument that I can barely put down.

I'm new to playing mandolin but I'm not a beginner to music or indeed stringed instruments. If you want to take up the mandolin I must tell you my gamble has truly paid off purchasing this one.

Congratulations and thank you Ortega, you have absolutely smashed it in the entry level mandolin category with this one. It is perfect in every way. I really can't find fault with this beautiful mandolin.

Retenue car simple et nue : aucun artifice inutile ! la réalisation est correcte et clean, sans luxe. La couleur est belle, plutôt sombre. Comme elle est vide, sans contreplaques, ni micros les résonances sont très bonnes et très chaleureuses. Elle est plutôt puissante avec les cordes qui l'équipent, qui doivent être des normales, immédiatement échangées contre des D'addario Médium qui faisaient le boulot plus agréablement sur ma précédente. Un prix efficace, et un bel instrument en retour.

Ich bin absolut zufrieden mit dem Instrument. Es spielt sich super und hat auch einen sehr schönen Klang. Ich nutze die Ortega hauptsächlich für mich zu Hause um ein bisschen unbeholfen rumzuklampfen und bin begeistert. Die hat bei mir echt wieder den Spielspaß geweckt, der bei meinem vorherigen Instrument, welches schon noch mal eine Preisklasse drunter lag, ein bisschen verloren gegangen ist.
Ich finde die Ortega ist ein super Instrument. Nicht viel Schnickschnack und eine saubere Verarbeitung und meiner Meinung nach jeden Cent wert.
