Great all around cymbal

Crispy, adventurous, not too heavy, not too loud. Perfect balance. Fits nicely in the mix without being overpowering.
Expect nothing but the best quality from this high end cymbal.

Wanted to upgrade my hi-hats. My drum teacher has these on the kits at his school. Absolutely superb to play. Brilliant clear sound. Give a lovely sizzle when the hats are loose, and really easy to do a good splash.

Ich habe vor einiger Zeit das Lehrvideo von Jeff Porcaro zusammen mit David Garfield und seinem Bruder Mike im Internet gesehen (wo er den Rosanna Half Time Shuffle erklärt). Dort hat mich der Sound seiner Hihats fasziniert - ein einzigartiger Klang mit einem schönen hohen „Ching“ - sowas wollte ich schon lange für mich haben, bin aber bisher nie so richtig fündig geworden. Etwas Recherche im Netz hat ergeben, dass Jeff damals auf Paiste 602 Hihats gespielt hat. Also mal bei Thomann diese und andere Hihats zum Testen bestellt.
Und was soll ich sagen: die neuen Paiste 602 klingen hervorragend und haben all die Soundqualitäten, die ich in dem Video an den alten 602 Hats gehört habe. In real klingen die Becken natürlich nochmal anders, aber bisher kam nichts meinem Klangideal so nahe wie diese Hihats (natürlich, sie sind ja auch das Original).

Ich bin zufrieden damit.
