This is simply a great beater, not to heavy feel, but delivers a great smack. And the fact that it is a quad beater makes it easy to change the sound

What an ingenious idea, to provide four different beater heads in a single frum beater. The Quad Beater offers two felt surfaces (with different shapes) and two plastic surfaces (also with different shapes), provinding four different sounds (and rebounds) to your bass drum playing. The Quad Beater includes a small weight that can be slided along the shaft (or removed) to adjust to you playing style. The diameter of the shaft fits all standard drum pedals (I installed it on a Tama Iron Cobra).

I use these beaters on my Pearl demonators and they make it pretty nice and punchy. With 4 sides to choose it makes a great option

I was sold on the four beaters in one configuration, but this just feels so much better on my demon drive than the stock round felt beaters. I'd recommend this for any direct drive pedal, honestly. I don't know why so many use round felt beaters; they feel so top-heavy and unwieldy to my foot.
