Ein neues Schlagzeug für unser Akkordeonorchester war überfällig und so wurde ich beim Stöbern auf das Pearl Decade M. Studio Shells S.BR aufmerksam. Nach dem Zusammenschrauben und Stimmen war ich an dem Set "zu Hause". Farbe und Verarbeitung sind für diese Preisklasse tadellos. Dass die Schrauben zur Höhenverstellung der Hängetoms nach der Montage nur schwer zugänglich sind, nervt etwas, aber man muss ja auch nicht alle Tage daran 'rumdrehen. Der Klang passt sich hervorragend dem Orchestersound an, im Advent in einer Kirche mit
moderatem Nachhall waren bei swingenden und ruhigen Weihnachtstiteln alle Instrumente ohne Verstärkung klar und differenziert zu hören.
